The Den: A Safe, Fun Place for Kids to Find Life With Jesus

The Den is Bear Creek Community Church's children's ministry for kids from infants through 5th grade in Lavon, Texas. Every Sunday, kids in our care experience age-appropriate Bible teaching, secure check-in and check-out, and are led and loved by background-checked, trained volunteers. Families from Lavon, Josephine, Nevada, and Copeville trust The Den as a safe, welcoming space for their kids to find life with Jesus while parents attend the main worship gathering.

Safety Is Our First Priority at Bear Creek

Before your kids begin their experience at The Den, we want you to feel completely at ease leaving them with our team. Every child checks in and checks out through a secure system, so only an authorized parent or guardian can pick them up. Every volunteer serving in The Den is background-checked and trained before they ever step into a classroom. You'll get a security tag at check-in, and if we ever need to reach you during a service, we can text or page you directly.

Meet Alynna: Director of The Den

Alynna Hubbard leads The Den, Bear Creek's children's ministry for kids from infants through 5th grade. Alynna's own faith journey started in youth ministry, where she first experienced real community and a deeper relationship with Christ, an experience she's passionate about creating for the next generation of kids at Bear Creek. Before stepping into ministry, Alynna built a career in event coordination and team leadership, skills she now brings to building a safe, well-organized, and joy-filled environment for your kids every Sunday. She loves partnering with parents, training up volunteers, and helping kids take their own first steps toward finding life with Jesus.

As a new church, Bear Creek does not have a middle school or high school program at this time, but it is in our plans for the very near future. If you have a middle school or high school student that you would like to get plugged into our church, we would love to meet with you and talk about how we could partner together to have age-appropriate programming for your student.
